2026 Aries Full Moon: Find Balance, Free Your Mind, and the Rest Will Follow

Quick note: My posts are usually layered. The introduction and closing carry the heart of the message; the aspect breakdowns are for those who enjoy the deeper cosmic mechanics. Read your way—the message will land.

On Saturday, September 26 at 12:49pm EDT, the Aries Full Moon will grace our sky at  3°36' Aries.

Full Moons illuminate what has been building beneath the surface. They can reveal what we haven't wanted to see, what we've overlooked, or simply what we've been too close to recognize.

With this Full Moon in Aries, those blind spots may involve our identity, ambitions, independence, or the ways we assert ourselves within our relationships and the world around us.

As with the recent Virgo New Moon, we are once again being offered an opportunity to recognize where something may be out of balance — and to consider what personal adjustment might restore our equilibrium.  With the Aries/Libra axis, those adjustments begin within our own personal space, but they don't necessarily stay there.  What shifts within us can change how we show up in our relationships, alter the dynamics of the spaces we share, ripple into society, and ultimately contribute to the collective.

At its heart this moon asks us to - Free our minds, and allow the rest to follow.

Full Moon Aspects

Conjunct Neptune in Aries

The Full Moon shines a light on our blind spots — those places where we may be wearing rose-colored glasses or seeing only part of the picture.

With Neptune involved, however, clarity may not arrive all at once.

We may feel more sensitive, intuitive, or even a little disoriented as we try to separate gut feelings from emotional fog and genuine insight from mixed signals.

While clarity may seem a bit elusive; it is available,  if we still ourselves long enough to recognize what we truly already know.

 Sextile Pluto in Aquarius

The Full Moon brings emotional peaks to our relationship dynamics, with a strong focus on autonomy, courage, and authentic self-expression.

The sextile to Pluto in Aquarius creates a supportive bridge between deep personal insight and the broader world around us.

The Full Moon's conjunction to Neptune invites us to look beneath the surface — to dig deeper into our blind spots, assumptions, desires, and the ways we may have been seeing ourselves or our relationships through a distorted lens.

If we are willing to go there, we may experience a profound shift in how we understand ourselves. And because this is an Aries Full Moon, that deeper personal awareness can change how we show up in our relationships and the spaces we share.

Pluto in Aquarius gives that personal insight breadth.

What begins as an internal shift can ripple outward — altering a relationship dynamic, changing our position within a community, influencing how we engage with society, and ultimately contributing to a broader collective shift.

This is where personal evolution meets collective possibility: we change something within ourselves, and the change doesn't necessarily stop with us.

Sextile Uranus in Gemini

This is another aspect that opens the door to fresh perspectives, unexpected insights, and the freedom to think beyond our usual patterns.

The fiery, direct energy of the Aries Full Moon can illuminate personal truths, while Uranus in Gemini invites us to remain open to the unexpected ways those truths might be revealed.

A random conversation. An offhand comment. Something we read or hear. An idea that initially seems completely outside our usual way of thinking.

Rather than dismissing it because it doesn't fit our current perspective, we can play with it. Toy with the idea. Consider another possibility.

We don't have to immediately agree with every new idea or change our minds. We simply need to be willing to entertain a different perspective long enough to discover what it might show us.

The sextile offers a natural opening rather than a battle. Go with the flow. Follow the unexpected thread and see where it leads.

Sometimes a breakthrough begins with nothing more dramatic than being willing to think, “Huh. I never looked at it that way before.”

Square Lilith in Capricorn -

Here we encounter friction between Aries' raw desire for independence and the structures, expectations, and rules that have shaped how we believe we are supposed to behave.

Lilith represents the part of us that refuses to be tamed into submission.

In Capricorn, that tension can surface around authority, hierarchy, achievement, status, responsibility, or the pressure to conform in order to feel secure.

The Full Moon in Aries wants to say: I need to be myself.

Capricorn asks:  But what will that cost you?

This square can expose where external expectations — or the internal rules we've absorbed from them — have become restrictive.

The opportunity isn't necessarily rebellion for rebellion's sake.

It's recognizing which structures still support us and which ones have quietly become cages.

Quincunx Venus in Scorpio

This alignment adds another layer of complexity, highlighting the tension between Aries' need for independence and Venus in Scorpio's desire for emotional depth, intimacy, trust, and security.

We may feel caught between wanting to move forward freely and needing to process emotions that aren't quite ready to be left behind.

Relationships may expose deeper fears around vulnerability, control, trust, or power.

The challenge is to resist the urge to choose between freedom and intimacy.

Perhaps the deeper work is learning how to hold both.

A quincunx rarely offers a quick fix. It asks us to make adjustments — sometimes subtle ones — until we find a position that allows the competing needs to coexist.

And that may be the larger message of this Aries Full Moon.

In Closing…

This Aries Full Moon invites us to look honestly at what may be out of balance — within ourselves, within our relationships, and in the ways we participate in the world around us.

  • Neptune asks us to quiet the noise long enough to recognize what we already know.

  • Pluto reminds us that a deep personal shift can have breadth.

  • Uranus encourages us to remain curious when an unexpected idea or perspective crosses our path.

  • Lilith challenges us to question the structures and expectations that may have become restrictive.

  • And Venus asks us to find a workable balance between honoring our independence and remaining open to emotional connection.

None of these invitations require us to have all the answers.

Perhaps the adjustment begins simply by freeing our minds enough to see another possibility.

From there, we can make the actual adjustment that is our own to make — and allow that to emanate and ripple outward as a reflection of who we are becoming.

So again, in the words of En Vogue - Free Your Mind, and the Rest Will Follow.

Full  Moon Blessings,

Brenda
